Film Plays AMT Film Festival in Times Square Halloween Night

“…a solid and scary low-budget werewolf horror flick…a top-notch ensemble cast, a terrific score, and a werewolf hunter that audiences will remember…terrifying, unsettling, and thoroughly disgusting (in a good way).” –411 Mania

“Frenzy Moon packs a lot into its low budget werewolf story. A standout scene set in an outhouse raises the stakes early and the frantic screenplay keeps it there.” –ScareValue

Los Angeles, CA(October27, 2025)—Indie distributor Uncork’d Entertainment has set the release date for cult filmmaker Gregory Lamberson’strope-skewering werewolf thriller FRENZY MOON,which debuts on VOD on all major North American digital platforms November 11. In FRENZY MOON, six graduate students spending a weekend in a remote cabin are forced to take in a mysterious hunter. Awakened by howling, the hunter warns them they are in danger from werewolves. They attempt to flee, but wolf like creatures savagely kill one of them and wound another. Trapped in the cabin with only one weapon, the survivors must fend off a siege by a ferocious pack of werewolves.

FRENZY MOONstars several theatre actors from the Buffalo area: Alyssa Grace Adams as Jennifer (Slasher Days of Summer, Angelfish);Aaron Krygier as Gavyn (Rust Belt Driller); Kayla Malika Waller as Makayla (Keekah and Friends, Indigo:The Last Days); and Gabrielle Nunzioas Sheila (Unbillievable! The Movie, co-produced by Lamberson; Reverie). Harold Octavius Jacob; Steven Maiseke; Jacob Applegate; KateLynn E. Newberry (Replicator); and Chad Ridgely round out the cast.

Gregory Lamberson established serious horror and genre bon fides starting with his auspicious debut Slime City back in 1988. His cult status has emerged from more than 50 credits since, including Naked Fear; Slime City MassacreKiller Rack; Widow’s Point; and Showdown in Yesteryear—ten feature films in all. He’s also authored fifteen books, and has written or ghostwritten screenplays for clients, and provides services as a screenplay doctor, editor, and analyst. He is the Founding Director of the genre film festival Amazing Fantasy Fest, and the Executive Director of a non-profit organization, Cinema Arts Collaborative, Inc., created to help grow the Buffalo-Niagara film community. He taught Screenwriting at University at Buffalo for two years. Fangoria has called him “the busiest man in horror.”

Lamberson recalls, “Having seen both An American Werewolf in London and The Howling first-run when I was in high school, my goal with FRENZY MOON was to make a practical effects monster movie, because CGI werewolves just aren’t any fun. That’s a tall order for a low budget film, so I went with a cabin-in-the-woods scenario, which opened the door for a lot of Thing-style  paranoia. It was still a tall order, and I’m glad I worked with such a talented cast of newcomers.”

Following a festival journey that has included Pittsburgh Moving Picture Festival: Thriller Picture Show, (where it won Best Horror Feature) and Lusca Fantastic Fest in Puerto Rico.FRENZY MOON goes on from AMT Festival to play the Horror on Seas Film Festival in the UK starting January 16, 2026.
