There is a particular kind of designer who does not chase the moment. Kirolos “Kiro” Eid is one of them.

Founded in 2021, 8X6 Design Studio has grown quietly but decisively, from a solo practice in its first year to a multidisciplinary firm with a portfolio spanning private residences, hospitality venues, retail environments, and commercial interiors across the United States and beyond. Over 120 completed projects later, the studio has earned a reputation not only for its refined aesthetic sensibility, but for the operational discipline that underpins every engagement.

Kiro arrived in the United States during high school, without the professional connections that so often accelerate careers in competitive creative industries. What he brought instead was focus. From the outset, he understood that credibility is built slowly, through consistency, clarity, and an unwillingness to compromise on quality.

That philosophy shaped the way he built his firm. In 8X6’s first year alone, Kiro managed more than twenty active projects simultaneously, developing the internal documentation standards, communication protocols, and workflow systems that would become the studio’s operational backbone. It was, from the beginning, a practice designed to scale without sacrificing the attentiveness that distinguishes genuinely good design work.

Today, the studio serves clients across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and California, with international projects underway in Cairo and Dubai on the horizon. The firm has collaborated with a notable roster of high-profile private clients, including public figures and celebrities, many of whom cite the studio’s discretion and proactive technical approach as distinguishing qualities.

Across project typologies, the design language remains consistent: spatial balance, clarity of movement, and material choices made with both visual and functional intention. Kiro is deliberate in his avoidance of trend-driven work. “Redefining Spaces. Redefining Lives.” is the studio’s guiding principle, a phrase that captures his belief that thoughtful design does not merely shape rooms, but reshapes how people inhabit and experience the world around them.

With ambitions to deepen the studio’s presence in hospitality and retail, sectors where spatial design directly influences user behavior and business performance, 8X6 is positioning itself for a next chapter as considered as its first.

Kiro holds affiliations with Associate AIA, ASID, and IIDA, and operates today with a focused team of four, a structure that allows the studio to maintain hands-on involvement across every project it takes on.

In an industry that often rewards spectacle, 8X6 Design Studio is a reminder that the most enduring practices are built on something quieter: intention.
